  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a 10-inch Bundt pan.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
  • In the bowl of an electric mixer, cream together the butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating until fully incorporated. Add the vanilla extract and mix until combined.
  • Add the flour mixture in three additions, alternating with the buttermilk, beginning and ending with the flour mixture. Beat until just combined. Add the coffee and the Irish cream liqueur and mix until just incorporated. Fold in the walnuts.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared Bundt pan and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a cooling rack and cool completely.
  • To make the glaze, whisk together the Irish cream liqueur and confectioners’ sugar. Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cake.
